Parklands sets the standard in Leeds

Parklands is an exclusive flagship development comprising only twenty five houses by acclaimed developer Camstead Homes which is part of the Scotfield Group of companies. From their prime location, to the high levels of specification, the new homes at Parklands will set the standard for new homes in North Leeds and beyond.

In 2016 the first residents moved into the exclusive Parklands development off Allerton Grove in Moortown and since that time it has been receiving high praise from discerning home buyers who are looking for quality houses  in a highly desirable leafy area of Leeds.  Local couple Joanne and Jamie Powell were thrilled to receive the keys to the stunning five bedroom property after many months spent searching for their dream home.

Joanne says: ‘We have looked at so many new developments in and around our preferred location of North Leeds, but Parklands has blown every one of them completely out of the water. The living space, room sizes and overall specification is out of this world.’

The house type which Joanne and Jamie are now the proud owners of is called The Bramham. It is arranged over three floors and comprises five bedrooms with en-suite and dressing room to the master, two house bathrooms, kitchen/dining room, drawing room, separate study and utility room. There is also an integral garage and turfed gardens to the front and rear. The specification includes an Ellis kitchen with Silestone worktops, floor tiles from Porcelanosa and a range of integrated appliances from AEG and Zanussi. The bathrooms and en-suite are fitted with Porcelanosa sanitaryware and wall tiles.

However, it is not just the quality of the property which has left Joanne and Jamie in no doubt that Parklands is the perfect choice for their family.

‘We already live in the area and with two young children the accessibility to good schools and local amenities was a key consideration,’ says Joanne. ‘Street Lane is in walking distance and places like Roundhay Park are right on the doorstep. I also know the children will love the abundance of outdoor communal space which is a real added benefit of the Parklands scheme.’

Demand for houses on the site of the former Yorkshire Bank playing fields has been exceptionally high, with all properties already reserved ‘off plan’. Sales Negotiator, Carol Quilliam, says: ‘The amount of interest this scheme has attracted is a direct reflection of both the quality of the properties and the desirability of the location.

‘With a fully furnished show home available to view potential buyers have the chance to see for themselves the incredible attention to detail which has gone into the build. It is certainly somewhere you will be proud to call home.’
