The site of 40 acres adjacent to the M62 near Huddersfield was purchased by Scotfield and developed into one of the north’s most important combined residential and commercial schemes in recent years.

By dividing the land into residential and commercial zones Scotfield have facilitated the building of over 250 homes by Taylor Wimpey and Harron Homes on 15 acres.

The commercial development has been delivered providing 65,000 sq ft unit for industrial springs supplier Lesjöfors Springs as the first phase of the £15m Summit 24 scheme. In addition a 20,000 sq ft unit has been handed over to MAC Trucks North Ltd and the remaining 5.5 acres will provide a new Land Rover dealership for Ryebrook Motors.
